We are inviting individuals or families to engage in supporting the relief work of rebuilding Puerto Rico into a resilient and sustainable community of the future.
The Puerto Rico Service Trip is about serving and playing. Participants join together with others to make a difference in Puerto Rico. They will have the opportunity to develop the values of service, community and connection. Teams work with local non-profits to bring relief and support to locally designated needs. We focus on service needs that develop resiliency and sustainability for Puerto Rico. Our contacts on the ground identify needs that we can meet that help them grow and develop towards a stronger and better community.
In addition to service work, our trips focus on play and learning too. We spend time enjoying the beauty and highlights of Puerto Rico while also learning about its history and stories. Experiences included in the trip cost are Old San Juan Town and Castle Tour, El Yunque Rainforest, hike, waterfall swim and beach time.
Participants discover more than just a bonding time with each other. They discover the diversity and beauty of the island and its connection to the USA. They develop close bonds with other families that foster a deeper sense of community when they return. You will also get some great photos, memories and a sense of deep satisfaction at making a real difference.
